Mission Statement

The Pacific AME Association shall always promote and protect the professionalism of the AME, while developing, maintaining and improving our relations with regulatory bodies affecting our industry.

We shall represent the views and objectives of our members, while promoting proficiency through educational collaboration with other groups on matters of mutual interest.

We shall promote honourable practices among our Members and others in the aviation industry, while remaining non-union, non-sectarian and non-partisan.

Attention all AMEs and Learners!!

PAMEA would like to publish a calendar to commemorate aircraft maintenance and AMEs. Our thoughts are that the calendar would be in a 14 month layout. We would also like to indicate historical dates in BC aviation. Calendars would be available for purchase on the PAMEA website. We are proposing a contest and the rules are;

  1. Aircraft undergoing any kind of maintenance (heavy, line, etc.);
  2. Aircraft in flight;
  3. Having people in the picture is allowed, but the people should be silhouette;
  4. Digital format is preferred;
  5. Pictures from any era are permitted;
  6. People whose picture is chosen for the calendar will be presented with a calendar as a prize and their name will be mentioned in the PAMEA newsletter.
  7. Submit all entries by August 2012 by email to pamea@telus.net with your name, contact information, where the picture was taken, type of camera used and if possible, a short passage on what was happening in the picture.
